Getting access
I cannot create an account
VEDA is a private tool for customer organisations, not a public app. Registration only succeeds for a work email address that an administrator has approved in advance — any other address is refused at sign-up. If you need access, ask your plant administrator to have your work email authorised, or write to us at softwareteam@ydgroup.com and we will route the request.
I forgot my password
Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. A reset link is emailed to the address on your account and stays valid for fifteen minutes. If it expires, request a new one.
I was signed out unexpectedly
Each account can be signed in on a limited number of devices at once — one for a standard user and three for an administrator, counting phones, tablets and the website together. Signing in beyond that limit signs out the device that signed in earliest. Sign in again to continue.
Using the app
I cannot see a production line I expect
You only see the organisations and lines your administrator has granted. If something is missing, that is a permissions setting rather than a fault — contact your administrator or write to us.
Live data is not updating
The live screen holds an open connection to our servers. On a weak plant network it can drop and reconnect. Check your signal first; if the screen stays stale on a good connection, tell us the line and the time and we will look at the server side.
Talking to YOGI
YOGI is the built-in assistant. You can type to it, or tap the microphone to speak. The app asks for microphone permission the first time you speak, and stays fully usable if you decline — you can simply type instead. Microphone access can be withdrawn at any time: on iPhone and iPad in Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone; on Android in Settings › Apps › YD - VEDA › Permissions › Microphone.
Reports and alerts
Reports can be generated for any day the mill ran and shared by email or WhatsApp. If a scheduled report or roll-grinding alert stops arriving, check the delivery address or mobile number saved on the schedule, then contact us.
Delete your YD - VEDA account
You can delete your YD - VEDA account, published by Yogiji Digi Limited, at any time. It is the same account whether you use the app on Android, iPhone or iPad, or the website.
In the app
- Open YD - VEDA and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Delete Account, enter your current password and tap Delete.
The account is deleted immediately.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, cannot sign in, or prefer not to use it, email softwareteam@ydgroup.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my YD - VEDA account”. We will confirm the request came from you, delete the account within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email address, password and access rights
- Your scheduled reports, dashboard snapshots and roll-grinding alerts, including any WhatsApp number you entered for them
- Your YOGI assistant history, including conversations you rated or that were saved for diagnostics, and your YOGI usage counts
- Your signed-in sessions on every device, and your email’s approval to register
To use YD - VEDA again after deleting your account, your administrator would need to authorise your email address again.
What is kept
- Production and machine data (coil, production, energy and similar records) belongs to your organisation, not to your personal account, and is not affected.
- Records we must keep by law (for example tax and accounting records) are kept only for the period the law requires, and used for no other purpose.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Because your access is granted through your organisation, its administrator can also remove it.

Requirements
Reporting a problem
So we can act quickly, please include: your work email address, your organisation and production line, the screen you were on, what you expected and what happened instead, the date and time, and your device model and its Android or iOS version. A screenshot helps.
